Google has announced that over 10 billion android applications have been downloaded from the Android Market.
Google is celebrating this feat by offering premium paid apps for as low as 10 cents. So enjoy the party as long as it lasts (From 6 December to 16 December). SwiftKey X is also included in Android Market 10 billionth app download which is No. 1 android app in the global Android Market paid app chart.
Android took 22 months to reach one billion downloads mark, but only one month to go from nine billion to 10 billion. This reflects the growing popularity and penetration of Android in mobile market.
